Booking Terms
What you need to know before you book.

These terms apply to all workshop bookings with Mud Mojo Pottery, located in Arroyo Grande, California. By booking a workshop, you agree to these terms.
Age requirements
Mud Mojo workshops are designed for adults 18 and older.
Private workshops for young potters ages 11–17 are available by arrangement. Private groups require a minimum ratio of one responsible adult guardian for every three participants under 18. Contact us to discuss scheduling a private session.
What's included
All workshop fees include:
- All clay, tools, and glazes
- Both bisque and glaze kiln firings
- Guided instruction throughout
- Your finished ceramic piece(s) to take home
Workshop packages
Workshops are sold as packages — the Intro (2 sessions), the Add-On (4 sessions), or the Full Experience (6 sessions). Individual sessions within a package cannot be refunded or credited separately. If you miss a session, your spot in the remaining sessions is held but the missed session is not replaced or reimbursed.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancelling more than 5 days before your first session
You'll receive a full refund to your original payment method, processed within 5–10 business days.
Cancelling within 5 days of your first session
We're unable to offer a cash refund at this point, but we'll issue a credit for the full amount toward any future Mud Mojo workshop. Credits don't expire.
If Mud Mojo cancels
If we ever need to cancel a workshop, you'll receive a full refund — no questions asked. We'll also do our best to give you as much notice as possible and help you find another available date if you'd like.
Payment
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Your card information is handled entirely by Stripe — Mud Mojo never stores your payment details.
Liability and participation
Pottery involves working with tools, wet clay, and a kiln. While Mud Mojo workshops are designed to be safe and beginner-friendly, you participate at your own risk. Please let us know of any relevant health conditions before your session so we can make appropriate accommodations.
Mud Mojo Pottery is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property arising from workshop participation, except where required by California law.
For insurance compliance purposes, all participants are required to sign a liability waiver at the start of their first session.
